Calling All Vegans!

So for the last few months I have been baking up a storm and learning all about the world of  vegan goods from my business mama Mandi at Auntie Loo's. The incredible staff there has been nothing but perfection since I started and supportive to no end....now I am over the moon to announce that my raw treats have become available to buy at Auntie Loo's.

That's one proud little Vegan!

Chocolate Mousse Brownies!

Oooooooooooh child!
Incoming!



Brownie Base
Flax Seed (finely ground)
Almonds
Cacao Powder
Banana
Prunes
Agave Nectar
Sea Salt

First make sure to grind your flax seed really fine. Next add the rest of your dry ingredients and blend until you have a flour-like consistency. Now you can add the rest of your ingredients and blend on pulse until everything is well mixed. And there you have it!

Mousse Icing
Avocado
Coconut Butter
Cacao Powder
Agave Nectar

Blend on pulse until your mousse is really creamy and light. Once you have achieved the texture you want spread your icing over your brownies and enjoy!

Blackberry Buckle!

Bliss...
Let's spend some time getting to know this little gal.







Filling:
Blackberries
Agave Nectar



Blend 1/2 of your berries with some Agave Nectar and then toss in the other 1/2 as full berries, so you have all kinds of wonderful textures. Next, I dehydrated the filling on it's own for two hours or so...


Crust:
Almonds
Macadamia Nuts
Shredded Coconut
Raw Sugar

Sea Salt
Coconut Butter


First, finely grind your nuts and shredded coconut, now you can add everything else. A tiny spoonful of Coconut Butter is more than enough, it just gives your crumble a more thick and creamy texture. Also, feel free to add Agave is you need your crust to be sweeter. Once it's ready sprinkle it over your filling and dehydrate for another three to four hours. If you don't have a dehydrator, simply skip that step!

And now it is time, get hungry quick!

Making the perfect appetizer...

Making something bite-sized and delicious is no longer a task,
Check out these little money makers!




Cucumber and Dill never looked so good...


Cracker:
Flax Seed
Sunflower Seed
Dill
Garlic
Carrot
Onion
Sea Salt
Pepper
Water (just a touch)


Blend on pulse until everything is well mixed and sticking together good. I rolled the batter out, just coat things lightly with water to keep it from sticking. I used the top of a cup as a "cracker cut out" that way all my crackers were the same size. Then I dehydrated them for about 4-6 hours depending how thick you make them.

Olive Oil
Lemon

Blend until really creamy. The avocado and cashew actually mix genius together giving the perfect consistency to spread.

Topping:
Cucumber (obviously!)

How to make good salad...

One thing I find somewhat devastating is when people think that salad is boring. No, no, no my dear sweet friends this is not the case. Salad is limitless, it just takes a creative mind and more than sliced cucumbers to do so. This is my "favorite" salad at the moment. It always changes, but for now....she wins!!




Fresh Sexy Lettuce Leaves


Toppings:
Heirloom Tomatoes
Fuji Apples
Avocado
Portobello Mushrooms
Cucumber
Sundried Tomatoes


Slice it, all over your bed of greens.


Dressing:
Stone Ground Mustard

Olive Oil
Agave Nectar
Lemon
Water
Ground Pepper


Stir, stir, stir!


Bacon Bit Topping:
Sunflower Seeds
Garlic
Sea Salt
Basil
Lemon





Blend on pulse, sprinkle over your salad. Top with dressing.
Now you see.... thats all it takes and you're loving salad all over again!

Sundae Magic

Ooooooooh child, this is by far my favorite way to spend any afternoon. Indulging in delicious raw, vegan ice-cream....Who would have thought!!


Ice Cream:
Frozen Bananas
Cacao Powder
Raw Sugar
Vanilla Bean


Garnish:
Peanuts

Coconut
Grapefruits
Pears
Raisins



Blend ice cream ingredients on pulse to break up your bananas.
If they are really, really frozen you may need to add some water to help them blend.
Once velvety and wonderful, garnish.

You will not regret a thing!

Salted Raspberry Love

Never gonna give you up!
Magic in minutes....ladies start your blenders!






Raspberry Cream:
-Cashews (soaked)
-Raspberries
-Lemon
-Agave Nectar


Blend on pulse until things are looking real smooth and tasting real spiritual.
You know how...



Salted Crusts:
-Almonds
-Coconut
-Raw Sugar
-Sea Salt
-Water (just a touch)



Blend on pulse. Slowly add your sea salt, you don't want it to be over-powering
Add a touch of water to hold things together, JUST A TOUCH!



Garnish: 
-Fresh Raspberries






Now, cancel all your appointments and spend the afternoon indulging...

Ten Oaks Bowl-A-Thon

So this year I am so, so, so excited to be helping out with the Ten Oak's Bowl-A-Thon. It's my first year and I want to dive right in, big time! Incase you don't know what Ten Oaks is all about, I am about to school you. The Ten Oaks Project is a leader in providing innovative and cutting-edge programming that empowers children and youth through intentional magic and play that enhances self-esteem, life skills, independence, leadership and self-confidence. Their programs create safe spaces where children and youth of LGBTQ ( (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, two-spirit, queercommunities don't need to worry about coming out about their family and/or personal identity.






This years Bowl-A-Thon is March 31st and will be held at McArthur Lanes, if you want to help or get in on this wonderful day you can sign up a team or sponsor those who are already playing. This year I'm really excited to be helping with some of the publicity for the event with Strike Master Stu and  mega proud to be putting together Team Berry! Stay tuned for updates and videos as we get closer and closer to the BIG DAY!!!!

Strawberry Biscotti

What`s up sweetness!




Almonds (finely ground)
Cashews (finely ground)
Flax Seeds (finely ground)
Strawberries (dehydrated)
Strawberries ( a few fresh ones)
Prunes
Vanilla Bean
Agave Nectar


Make sure your dry ingredients are very finely ground, you want a flour-like consistency. Next blend all your ingredients on pulse and make sure everything is mixed real good. After I mixed things a added a bit more agave but stir it in with a spoon. Make sure your matter is real sweet and delicious then dehydrate for 6-8 hours depending on how firm you like you Biscottis.


Sweet Strawberry Icing:
Coconut Butter
Strawberries (dehydrated)
Agave Nectar


Dirizzle each biscotti with this icing for a little extra kick. Whaaaaat!

Bruschetta

Time to snack...
Let's do this!



Topping:
Tomatoes
Red Onions
Basil
Parsley
Garlic
Olive Oil

Sea Salt

Finely slice your tomatoes and onions. Next blend your spice and oil on pulse. Only do this long enough to chop everything in tiny, tiny pieces. Now you can mix the two together and let marinate.


Bottom:
Sunflower Seeds (finely ground)
Flax Seeds (finely ground)
 ½ a Tomato

Basil
Garlic
Sea Salt



Blend on pulse, once everything is well mixed shape into little bit-sized pieces and dehydrate.
Let dehydrate for 4-6 hours then top and enjoy!
